Can you (automatically) contact all authors whose ports exhibit this `make package`problem on bento, notifying them of the new infrastructure for .info files? Below is a patch for sysutils/cfengine2 that can serve as a nice example for this mail. What else should we do to inform all ports maintainers/developers of the new situation, and have all ports updated by 4.9-RELEASE? (Having a -doc committer update/simplify the Porter's Handbook would be good.)
