Yes, but in that case we should add a WITHOUT_JAVA knob which then
also implies WITHOUT_LIBJAVA.

A patch like yours should basically work, but I'm not sure whether
it still makes much of a difference, now that we have WITHOUT_LIBJAVA,
and my main focus now is to get

down to zero failures, which still is a bit of work, due to our not-too-
well supported platforms like sparc64 and ia64 (and, as far as GCC is
concerned also amd64).

Still, if someone provides a fully tested patch after the currently
remaining issues with the gcc3x ports have been resolved, I'm definitely
willing to strongly consider that patch.
