I'm thinking about getting a Dell latitude to run fbsd on the go. One thing I'd like to be able to do is use it as a portable network troubleshooter so I'd have bpfilter support and a promiscuous pcmcia NIC for sniffing duty. The FAQ mentions compatibility with pcmcia NICs from "IBM and National Semiconductor" -- anybody set up network sniffing with these devices?
