is Something wrong with the following code? :

import java.io.*;
import java.awt.*;

public class Chanda {
  public static void main(String args[]) {
    miThread n=new miThread();
    (new Frame()).show();
  }

}

class miThread implements Runnable {
  public miThread() {
    Thread t = new Thread (this);
    t.start();
  }
  public void run() {
    BufferedReader bf = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
    try {
  String tmp=bf.readLine();
    }
    catch (Exception e) {
    System.err.println(e.toString());
    }
    System.out.println();
  }
}

the frame in the main program is never shown until the bf.readLine(); is
done!! Im talking about the last release of JDK for FreeBSD, running on
FreeBSD 3.1 Release.

I have tried the same code in Debian with Kaffe and JDK, nad it works
fine.
