Hi All, I was trying to install latex from the /usr/ports/print/latex dir. After error code i said make NO_CHECKSUM=yes install he went on and on. But to my horror he stopt after these messages..: *********************************** * * Now run INITEX on latex.ltx * *********************************** Overall statistics: Files processed: 69 Lines processed: 74071 Comments removed: 49309 Comments passed: 426 Codelines passed: 21415 ) No pages of output. Transcript written on unpack.log. *** Error code 1 But i really need latex to work on. Is it compiled or not? I also got the warning that the source files were more then one year old and that i should get new once. Did anybody have this messages as well? Without latex i will have to switch to linux again to work, and i dont want that. Anybody got latex installed fine on his/her system? Sincerely, Reinoud.
