Hi again. here's more info. I'm on 2.2.7 and i'm sure it's setup like i was told. i read reread then read it again. It's a Sound Blaster 16 with PnP. and I made the snd0 device already with ./MAKEDEV. It says it's at 220...i'm curious why my kernel can't find it.
