Hello,
My name is Tim Lisko, i goto hgh school at msg Bonner High School in
Drexel Hill PA. My teacher recently bought a copy of FreeBSD, 3.1-RELASE.
I have expereince w/ Linux, this is the first time i have used freebsd.
Well, my question is thiis. I am having trouble getting the machine onto
the LAN + out to the net. Previous to running FreeBSD we ran slackware
3.6, which is what i use on this machine. To get the machine out to the
net through that machine i ussed these command
route add 172.31.109.100 eth0
route add default gw 172.31.109.100
Now, for the route in FreeBSD I can not issue this command, I get a write
error. route add 172.31.109.100 172.31.109.100..... If you have any
suggestions, please respond, Thanks.
Tim Lisko
