Hello -

DISCLAIMER - I am not able to try this in FreeBSD, so the limit may
differ.

'man vncserver' gives:
     vncserver
          [:_number_]
... etc ...

     :_number_
The dislay number to use. If omitted, the next
          free display number is used.

There is apparently a limit on display numbers - I was able to assign '99'
but not '101' - but the number seems to be greater than '2'. YMMV.
