when I run portversion -v to check against current pacakges installed and the up to date versions many packages are reported as up to date but there is a new versio nin hte ports avaliable. this happened for example with freetype. I had freetype2-2.1.5_2 = up-to-date with port i did a portupgrade freetype2-2.1.5_2 and the result now is freetype2-2.1.7_2 > succeeds port (port has 2.1.5_2) anyone has some hint for me? thanks Rick
