Yeah, I tend to agree. I probably don't have time to do more than the cursory updates right now, but as a longer term goal, that sounds like an excellent approach to improving it. Another improvement we need to make is to find the places in the source code where many of these constants are defined, and make sure to put documentation cross-references into the code. That might improve the degree to which the documentation of constants is kept in sync.
