They do, PREFIX gets set to X11BASE.  I have been talking to Satoshi about
how to change this, but the work isn't yet completed (I have the flu right
now, it may be more days).  I have a patch to bsd.port.mk that does change
things, but I don't want it to get out until several other things get
done, and Satoshi likes it better.
