Notice I moved the CC: list .... I noted the problem, and I haven't tried
building XFree86 locally, because I don't want to scrag my X11 tree yet.
Does anyone know of it builds in /usr/ports/X11/xfree86/make, and not in
/usr/X11R6?  The only part I really need rebuilt, probably, is the Xterms.
