I am trying to connect my laptop and desktop via parallel ports. They can successfully ping one another; but if I try to mount -t nfs host:path, I get NFS Postmap: RPC: Program not registered. rpcinfo on both machines gives program vers proto port 100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper 100000 2 udp 111 portmapper Can anyone tell me how to make this work? Thanks Greg
