Hi there, I'll be assembling a new system this weekend, and I'll be putting FreeBSD back onto it. (My last FreeBSD drive died, leaving me to flounder in Dos.) Because of monetary restrictions, I've had to resort to, *gasp*, buying an EIDE drive. (Please don't stone me with outdated microchips.) So, I've got myself a U-DMA IDE drive. So finally, my question is: a) Will this cause me any problems under 2.2.5 ? b) Will I receive any benefit from this U-DMA IDE technology under 2.2.5? thanks for you time david To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
