Here it is (formatting will probably be wrong) : last ptr: 0x8:0xf01dc20e code segment: base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b DPL=0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1 processor eflags interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0 current process = idle int mask = bio I tried installing it again following Michael Smith's recommendation to disable the Write Back cache, and when I did I got the exact same panic (same last ptr and everything) but instead of panicing while it was idle it said 1 (sysinstall) :Nice machine...that sb32 pnp will probably give you problems if you can't :disable pnp... Yeah, if it's even possible. I'll check the manuals again but this may requre a call to Creative. - ----------------------------------------------------------------- : David Kirchner : dpk@eskimo.com : http://www.eskimo.com/~dpk/ : - ----------------------------------------------------------------- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQB1AwUBMWJPkDO4yHMJ7P9xAQG2LgL9EOWG5m19S9RdRdLTQkQ8RsBhInKf6Ef3 sePevBbf8xz/UhsN3WkxIjSSICarn2PS3InCUKffppU5k0YjGpUmbEejB71x2hVY LtDruWTBTwb7IUQKhZ1IauWj8c+XZ76O =hbbC -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
