Well, you said anon ftp was working, so yes.  Oh, you need to set their
home directories up like the ftp directory.  Add bin/ls and any other
support programs you want them to have to their home dir.  They will
be running chrooted so everything they need, aside from ftpd itself
needs to be in their home directory.
