-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hi I was just chatting on irc and someone was complaining about their 'su' ending whenever they used 'exec'. I went and tried it in csh/tcsh/sh/bash and it happened to me as well, no matter what if I was su'd and did 'exec <anything> it exec'd it and exited to the previous shell. Is there a reason for that or is it just an oddity? *Im not on questions mailing list please cc: replies* - --- E-Mail: Luke <lh@aus.org> Sent by XFMail - ---------------------------------- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBNd+LLe6GmDnHtZHpAQE9BwQAiJcYKvPenBUOzpmZkn9kEWYffBRQFNgV p9wLbJLvJf3eZ7Idv4H6cG5CboHONQvyLc3YTzbS921xvVUmJlJJZofWLX8WnROU jq/GiycmRfKMG3P51Yq0FMBIdeeto669x0KsVdtvjiT0qAJ8ToGLrKEnvkqalxcy uzeoA2CB4AE= =Jkg/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
