The last working FreeBSD release I am aware of which will install and run
from a DPT controller is the snapshot of 26-Aug-98.
As I posted earlier, the CAM version panics during boot and is a totally
new and unknown entity in these quarters. Work will commence on said new
version in the next few days, emergencies non withstanding...
BTW, if there is need/interest in said snapshot, let me know, I'll make it
available, if not so already.
