This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 4880 and 3156) --XWLO5CMBFeC7616r8migOSeFJATQYXPOF Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="M3SDvgw8oNEVpDHD0nysfUZZffDBRPHTE"; protected-headers="v1" From: Lev Serebryakov <lev@FreeBSD.org> Reply-To: lev@FreeBSD.org To: freebsd-current@freebsd.org Message-ID: <a08b2f6a-1893-f759-8843-5a936633fd14@FreeBSD.org> Subject: current kernel built without TCO (-fno-optimize-sibling-calls) is almost unusable --M3SDvgw8oNEVpDHD0nysfUZZffDBRPHTE Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Content-Language: en-US Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I've built 13/current kernel with "-fno-optimize-sibling-calls" option to have full and true stacks. And my test stand (which is lousy Atom D2500, I need to admit) becomes unusable with such kernel. Here are NO any errors or message on console, but system drops ssh connection after several seconds (soemtimes before logon, sometimes right after showing shell), timeouts connections to it, etc. When I able to run "top -SH" (for several seconds!) it shows 98% idle! --=20 // Lev Serebryakov --M3SDvgw8oNEVpDHD0nysfUZZffDBRPHTE-- --XWLO5CMBFeC7616r8migOSeFJATQYXPOF Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQKTBAEBCgB9FiEE+W0coLX0MYtnSzMK6rA8WL/cR48FAlvPLn1fFIAAAAAALgAo aXNzdWVyLWZwckBub3RhdGlvbnMub3BlbnBncC5maWZ0aGhvcnNlbWFuLm5ldEY5 NkQxQ0EwQjVGNDMxOEI2NzRCMzMwQUVBQjAzQzU4QkZEQzQ3OEYACgkQ6rA8WL/c R4+PXg//Y7NK6p6nQi3kANfBCIDOrllWZnjKtLLMPTnIuotvgMUEvHIa32gkk3hu VAXjOyIMLVZ8I+q51O7YZEChMdGqmJ83+qMro4TwUEPboCjM32xC4SgWeehRzcA5 +4Tv8XYIXfWfReOAtwP0Al9pop5Xyh0vahYN0tLc50c5Lro2seXBbtK+BDfJD+aR PdTMwKhnpOu6eqFVHQcO2Tj+aVQeQxKTiLVgYOsPzYc+ZpIpJ9psje96arRXBQWK JGBHG4VddmlJUGryZHxYr/+NEm/+zrw3LW44AgXOpeotSQhH5q2uWlsAnGAuvgtE vTi3mSdYaAeeqhcCKnYalM/F6oaDdVGIvnDsTQRkq911iHp13Q3gkgWVLrQ2On5Q cohprBa9SWQXMPAlN4xlWZGfCa2xChgc1Az1AIxtyV7mjKtW4NBJrxy/Dg71j8Xg 7UGpA1AedV5dU8KtXKmBLbR/d4HdviOlAxcq7QpN9H9kYZyl6bjcom5QnxYaKV5Y j03iAYt36JKWnOVtw4XPRXKcGkPHha0VwiWrbPYAySFbwTV7US4sAV4RGSrdWmtF o/eMQ+pp7LJf7WO4qFhrQ5H+W6jTFnOP10mG5TdabnvCIfYn0sC4kULyC6rWU4YT zLFl892fHWdD6Fnn7jT2Wekrd47VnshLHXLnhVpbb82MCsKoiBI= =Twxn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --XWLO5CMBFeC7616r8migOSeFJATQYXPOF--
