I've just asked someone to plug in a monitor and send me a photo of the screen. "It's blank". Horrible memories of "screen savers" being added to later versions of FreeBSD. I can't actually tell if this is the case here - how can you make 100% sure the video output never gets turned off? I'm seeing the following during a boot: "kernel: blanktime." and getting paranoid. "sysrc saver" returns "saver: NO" Thanks, Frank.
