How difficult This is already implemented in the BSDstats project (sysutils/bsdstats). It does such accounting for hosts that have BSDstats installed. It shows stats on it's webpage https://bsdstats.org/ However, not many people are willing to install sysutils/bsdstats, or know about it, so it only counts based on a tiny fraction of hosts running FreeBSD.
