How, exactly, doesn't it boot? I have installed, and booted, a variety 
of these ISOs on both POWER7 and POWER8 CPUs with up to 64 threads, 
including ALPHA6. (The issue where you have multiple cores and threading 
turned off should be fixed in BETA1)
