Hi, I want to modify and recompile an application already installed on my FreeBSD 4.10 machine and then when I'm done with it go back to the way it was with that application before I modified and recompiled it. I heard I should use bash and edit the LD_* vars. I was not able to find anything about them on www.freebsd.org. I wanted to know how LD_PRELOAD and LD_LIBRARY_PATH worked.
