There is nothing that can be done within the 6.x branch. 7.x contains many improvements but I think only 8.x will directly change the lockmgr and the namei cache. The best things you can try right now is to use 7-STABLE (or soon to be released 7.1; you might need tuning with 7.0-RELEASE) or try 8-CURRENT (it's quite stable). --------------enigD704C9DE8A456A90B84816ED Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFI2hJ+ldnAQVacBcgRAuJfAKCX495H//nIbm2Vsl0ZkfJkUolmBACg59iW 2oswydaLxO1Tdzex7r19pAc= =J9Rx -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigD704C9DE8A456A90B84816ED--
