Good of you to omit the more obvious reasons.  And I'll omit many obvious
comments on your poor defense of your ill-mannered, IRC-ish behavior
which I've noticed in this and other threads and which helps give BSD
it's bad reputation for ill-treatment of question askers.

That is a classic form of ridicule on IRC and it deserves censure in
freebsd-questions (if not, apparently, in IRC).

I don't know what you could have been thinking when you said that it
"was not ridicule".  Maybe it was an example for us to consider when
reading your advice about "engaging your brain".

Blast away. I can only hope you'll be more careful in future threads
and I'll try to not make a pest of myself by not complaining about such
things often.  (It's a social duty of others to take their turn anyway.)
