I'm planning to upgrade from Samba 2.x to 3.x so I'm trying a test build of samba3 without CUPS or LDAP, neither of which are in the existing install. But I can't seem to get rid of LDAP: >banff# portinstall net/samba3 >---> Installing 'samba-3.0.12_1,1' from a port (net/samba3) >---> Building '/usr/ports/net/samba3' with make flags: = WITHOUT_CUPS=3DYES WITHOUT_LDAP=3DYES WITH_ADS=3DNO but later: >=3D=3D=3D> samba-3.0.12_1,1 depends on shared library: ldap-2.2.7 - = not found >=3D=3D=3D> Verifying install for ldap-2.2.7 in = /usr/ports/net/openldap22-client What do I need to do to get rid of LDAP? Also I see this: >=3D=3D=3D> Found saved configuration for samba-3.0.12_1,1 >=3D=3D=3D> ------------------------------------------- >=3D=3D=3D> Run 'make config' to (re)configure the port >=3D=3D=3D> ------------------------------------------- where is the configuration saved? There is no reference to config in the manpage for make, nor is there a config target in the Makefile nor is there any reference to config in any of the files in /usr/share/mk, so how does this work? jim
