In pcs.freebsd.chat you write: >it is a very nice game, fast and all that but last time I played with it >it ates 60 MB of swap on my 32 MB RAM system... and at the end of the >game , the 60 MB os swap were not given back to the system :-( Look at the size of your X server. Xkobo downloads all its graphics into the server - the only way to get such fast graphics. Since the default X servers aren't linked with gnumalloc, you won't get your memory back. On the other hand, if you have enough swap that doesn't hurt you. The server *won't* grow any more for the second and subsequent starts of the game. I've been running a 60 MB server for a week now (ok, I have some 300 Mb swap). Michael -- Michael Elbel, PCS GmbH, Muenchen, Germany - me@FreeBSD.org Fermentation fault (coors dumped)
