Since i could not find any examples of a LKM device driver i wrote one myself. It is a very basic one, it just controls two 7segment displays connected to a 8255 parallel port (no interrupts), commented and with a postinstall script to make device files. I think it would be a good thing to put it into /usr/src/share/examples/lkm. It is available from wcarchive.cdrom.com in directory pub/FreeBSD/incoming as led-lkm-driver.tar.gz. hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis hm@altona.hamburg.com Hamburg, Europe (A)bort, (R)etry, (I)nstall BSD ?
