When trying to read from /dev/qcam0 my video adaptor card flashes or switches
the monitor into Power Saving mode.

The installed video board is a ELSA winner 1000 (EISA) featuring an S3 928D

Has anyone noticed such behaviour with the qcam driver? Any suggestions?
