Is it possible to freeze the current status of a process and restart it at a later time so that it begins execution at the point where it was frozen? I have the problem to do some number crunching. I want to save the process and restart it next day or so. It would be nice to have such a feature. Does any kind of *nix or other OS support this? TIA Robert
