In my test setup with a Cisco and i4b's sppp LCP echos are happily exchanged and after a while the connection drops as it should be. It is my understanding that this is not a bug but a matter of configuring the Cisco. Anyway, in i4b still all packets reset the idle timer whereas this must be changed to a behaviour that only IP packets reset the idle timer. hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis Tel +49 40 559747-70 HCS Hanseatischer Computerservice GmbH Fax +49 40 559747-77 Oldesloer Strasse 97-99 Mail hm [at] hcs.de 22457 Hamburg WWW http://www.hcs.de To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isdn" in the body of the message
