Would you prefer Linux or CE then? ;-)

And, more seriously, it very much depends on those who work on it.
Clearly our current configuration systems (text files) are not going
to be useful to the majority of people who wish to configure an OS
vs. those who are going to hack on the core of it.  So, if you have a
suggestion we'd love to hear it.

BTW I moved this off of src to small because that's where this
question actually belongs and where we'll be discussing such things.
