Hi, I'm using FreeBSD 5.2 RELEASE KDE 3.1.4 from the ports distribution When using KUser, I found it deleted the first line of my /etc/passwd file, thus eliminating 'root' user. From inquiring into the problem, it appears that a similar problem existed under 5.1, the difference being that previously it deleted the first 3 lines of the passwd file, not just one. Mike Crosland
