I'm seeing similar stuff, but in ssh-add and scp in the base system.

FWIW, in my make.conf I have:
MAKE_KERBEROS4= yes
MAKE_KERBEROS5= yes
And the kernel config has this as the only "cpu" line:
cpu I686_CPU
Can't think of anything else that's non-standard.
