Silly me should have thought of that "single user" business. Meanwhile when I built a 2.1-STABLE I did it multi-user. Was pretty amazed that it worked and replaced all my 2.0.5R binaries in the process. And didn't get caught in any loop. And its been humming right along for 8 days now... I was real pleased with myself too, until now. The Question: am I hosed? _Should_ I re-make world from single user or just wait for 2.1R? -- David Kelly N4HHE, n4hhe@amsat.org, dkelly@iquest.com ============================================================= The human mind ordinarily operates at only ten percent of its capacity -- the rest is overhead for the operating system.
