I want to restore an older version of my /etc/rc file from a floppy. I am able to mount the floppy to the /mnt but when I type cp /mnt/rc /etc/rc I get an error message telling me that the file is write protected. So I typed rm rc and then tried it again and still same error now when I boot I get an error telling me the rc file is missing and I cannot restore it even though it's not there! HELP!!!! Thanks, Eric L.
