One factor to consider is whether you want to use the same device to do things other than just play DVDs. For example, I have a Pioneer DVD/Laserdisc combination player, and while these have historically not been all that well rated (and this model is incapable of handling PAL or SECAM format video), I quite like having that flexibility. I think you need to decide what all features you're looking for (including price), then prioritize them into what is essential, what would be very nice to have, and what would be a nice bonus if you could get it, and that will help direct your choices in this area. -- These are my opinions -- not to be taken as official Skynet policy ====================================================================== Brad Knowles, <blk@skynet.be> || Belgacom Skynet SA/NV Systems Architect, Mail/News/FTP/Proxy Admin || Rue Colonel Bourg, 124 Phone/Fax: +32-2-706.13.11/12.49 || B-1140 Brussels http://www.skynet.be || Belgium "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania.
