Introduction

The current archive contain the mailing lists of this week. The indexes will be updated every 2 minutes.

The yearly archive contains all mailing list messages since 1994. The archive will be updated every week on Monday morning at 0:00 UTC.

Message-ID Search

You can search the mail header keywords Message-ID, Resent-Message-id, In-Reply-to, and References. A Message-ID looks like <199802242058.MAA24843@monk.via.net>. No other mail header keywords are supported.

Mirror and Size

The total size of the archive is ca. 33GB uncompressed (6.5GB gzip'd or 4GB xz'd).

You can mirror the archive with rsync:

  rsync -Haz -q --delete bit0.nyi.freebsd.org::FreeBSD-mailarchive archive

or browse the gzip'd archive at bit0.nyi.freebsd.org/mailarchive

You can download a tarball of the last 5 years, ca. 1.4G or the current week, ca. 1-12M
