Likely a problem in pccard.conf.  There's likely a resource conflict.
You might try booting -v to see if more information is given.  Also,
raising the debugging level to 4 in /etc/pccard.conf (copy it from
/etc/pccard.conf.sample and start hacking).

Nah, this should just work, if properly configured.
