I tried to fix this once, the problem is the BT946 (or at least my vintage(s) of the PROM's report a PCI vendor code of 0xFFFF if the BIOS jumpers (JP4/JP5) are set to anything other than ``System BIOS''. If we can't get a valid vendor ID from the card, we can't do a PCI probe on it :-(.
