>Description:

After the installation of the port of popper 2.3, all the connections to the port 110 will fail and the popper daemon dies with the following line in /var/log/message :

pid 2813 (popper), uid 0:exited on signal 11 (core dumped)

>How-To-Repeat:

telnet to the machine on port 110

>Fix:

Copying popper compiled on a 2.1.7.1 FreeBSD server, this one works fine.
