Some time in the last week, the wcd driver (ATAPI CD-ROM) has gone
away and been replaced by acd.

config will happily process a "device wcd0" line, the kernel will
compile and build, but will fail to probe the CD, leaving you with
unexpected "device not configured" errors when you try and use it!

If dmesg includes "ATAPI CD-ROMs not configured" then you need to update
your kernel config to change wcd0 to acd0.

Greg.
