also, i thought you do want a resolv.conf.......
you should have the following entries

domain	yourdomain.com
nameserver  10.0.0.3 (according to your example below)

that may be your problem......

ps. don't forget to delete the sender from your replies
to the mail group otherwise the sender ends up receiving 
your message twice......;)
