Hi !

the load of my machine raises (from currently 0.2) up
to 3.0 for no reason every now and then. ( i haven't
measured the intervals , but it's like something about
each 15 minutes)

i use 4.2 Release on my smp machine . if i boot the
GENERIC , i have not the load problem. but then why
load GENERIC on a smp machine ?

i have even checked by 'top -S' during this heavy
load. none of system or user land program/daemons are
eating
that much CPU time. acctually the most CPU intensive
program is xmms which uses 6% of all cpu power.

i would be very thankful for any
suggestion/help/guide.

regards,
/kave
