FreeBSD 3 requires a kernel psm flag to be set [flags 0x100]. FreeBSD 4 does not. In NT, try changing your mouse driver to standard ps/2 mouse. Some proprietary drivers utilize PS2 SYNC, which will break through a KVM switch. BTW, I use a Belkin Omniport.
