I've seen the similar behavior on a Dell Inspiron 3000, although no
spontaneous reboots after 45 minutes. (I was able to cvsup and makeworld
this morning, a process that went from 10:3 EDT to 16:45 EDT. The kernel
finished building this evening after I got it home.)
