So then without the ability to get the entire source tree as a tar file with the "get lex.tar" command, what is the best way to get the source tree via ftp? I guess what I am asking is if ftp has a single commmand that will get all files that I need and put them into the proper directories, or, do I have to literaly get each file one by one, or, is there something in between that ftp offers. I have looked at the ftp man page and did not see any commands that would dig into sub directories or do other useful stuff that would be helpful. Thanks for the help.
