Don't. :) Do that to /usr/local/etc/sane.d/epson.conf instead. # scanimage -L [epson] The device at /dev/uscanner0 is not a supported EPSON scanner (product id=0x11d) device `plustek:/dev/uscanner0' is a Epson Perfection 1260/Photo USB flatbed scanner According to the sane homepage, this scanner is a plustek and it seems they insist on it... <sigh> Regards, Holger Kipp
