I'm running Vinum (a replacement for the less functional CCD) on a Sun Netra T1 105 to mirror my /usr and /var partitions between the two drives w/ FreeBSD 5.2.1-REL. It is working perfectly so far! The only problem I have run into is that the trick to boot off of a vinum root partition on i386 does not work the same way with the sun disk label. =20 So right now I have a normal root partition on each drive (using the ssync program to mirror them every 5 minutes) and /var and /usr are=20 Vinum mirrored. --=20 Stephen Fisher San Jose, CA USA --huq684BweRXVnRxX Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFAdVpSOO1t8kNcHJoRAjxrAJ9zczNCLkG+7xbCsu4SfdsV8IAZmQCfWSAh i8b7qTQR2QOU+EBAv+1h+e4= =IUUt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --huq684BweRXVnRxX--
