Since we're in a ports freeze ATM, and since it works on 6.0, and since I hadn't time in the last week and will not have time until the upcomming weekend, you have to use the patches in the PRs. I don't think portmgr would reject my request for approval to fix it for <6.0, but I just don't have the time until the weekend, but then the ports freeze should be in it's final stages (if I remember the freeze announcement right), so I just will wait until the tree is unfrozen.
